Anna Louise's journey in dentistry has been fueled by a lifelong passion ignited by her father's love for the field. This inborn passion, combined with her professional qualifications- graduating from dental assisting in 1981 and obtaining her dental hygiene diploma in 1985- has led to a career marked by dedication and excellence.

A significant chapter in her career unfolded during the 18 years she collaborated and practiced with a periodontist, shaping her expertise. Joining Ford Village Dentistry and Anaesthesia in 2005 marked another milestone, and today, she proudly boasts over four decades of invaluable dental experience.​

Anna Louise is a committed and highly skilled clinician, earning accolades for her adept facilitation of educational programs: customized in-office and international events. With a rich background, she has evolved into a Master Clinician with specialized expertise in advanced non-surgical periodontal therapy, implant therapy, and the comprehensive care of medically compromised clients. She aims to help clinicians provide optimal patient care and increase community wellness.
Her accomplishments include achieving a Fellowship from the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries in 2015. She also extends her expertise as a trainer in Dental Hygiene Advanced Certification programs, showcasing her commitment to the growth and development of her colleagues.
Actively participating in various industry advisory committees, Anna Louise is a key opinion leader who contributes her insights and knowledge. Whether imparting wisdom to clients or collaborating with colleagues, she has a knack for sparking a passion for learning and inspiring enthusiasm for positive change. Beyond her professional pursuits, Anna Louise finds joy on the golf course during weekends, indulges in her love for cooking by preparing family feasts, and enjoys playful moments with the family dog, Darby. This well-rounded approach to life, balancing her professional achievements with her passions, reflects her commitment to both spheres of her life.
Professional Experience
1985 - present | Clinical Educator
Focus: assessment, communication, documentation, development of periodontal and peri-implant therapy programs and hands-on coaching for Hand-activated Instrumentation, Piezo and Glycine and Erythritol Air Polishing while applying the process of care model. She worked with the dental industry to facilitate knowledge translation and practice application and develop learning opportunities for the entire dental team to create successful evidence-based therapy programs. In addition, she provides educational offerings to the Association for Dental Implant Auxiliaries, Canadian Dental Hygienist’s Association, College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario remediation provider, Crest + Oral B, Hu-Friedy Group, Provincial Dental Hygiene Associations, rdhu, Sci Can, Synca, Sunstar, as well as additional international events.
